"You bastard!" She screamed at him as she noticed she missed Renji..She stumbled over to him..and pulled him down by his hair. Since she was shorter than him (About 5'4") and with her drunken rage it was pretty easy..espically since he wasn't going to fight her back.
He just stared up at her..then innocently said, "Aunt Aya..Are you going to hit me again..?"
She smacked him across the face several times after he spoke and shoved him down on the ground, "Oo..Next time it'll be so much worse, Ren. I swear.."

Ryou's ears twitched, what the hell? His aunt was abusive, huh...That brought back memories...
Flashback Time
"You're so worthless! No wonder your parents abandoned you!"
*A hit to the face...*
"Ha! You're so weak! You little fag...Let's see how you like this!"
*A broken arm...*
"There he is! Get 'im! He'll pay for fucking with us!"
*Intense pain...my back...it hurts....*
"Ryou, Ryou....why do you not obey me...? Guess I'll just have to teach you some respect..."
*A slash to the face...bleeding...can't see*
"Shit, Kashim! I think you blinded him!"
"Doesn't matter, he won't fight back. He won't need that eye anymore."
*Laughter...all directed at him...sirens....voices..yells...*
"I'm afraid that he's no longer able to see with his left eye. I recommend therapy-"
Flashback Time End
Ryou gasped as he brought his hand up to his hand. The memories...why where they all coming back to him again? He shook his head. Better to get more information first before he did something he would regret. He ran back to the bed and pretended to be asleep.

He could hear a song playing in his head...a haunting one Gackt did...He felt his face sting..He simply laid there on the floor where his aunt left him..
She kicked him in the ribs a few times before going to get her purse and stepped on him on the way out. She slammed the door shut after she left.
He shuddered as he got on his knees. All of the energy that he had just simply left him after that beating...He continued to shake from anger.
"Da...Dammit..!" He muttered and socked the floor..

A few minutes passed aRyou heard the door slam. Afterwards...nothing. He decided to go and see if Renji needed help, even though e guessed that he probably didn't want him involved in this. He got up and quietly sneaked towards the place he though Renji would be in. Aha, bingo.
There he was, on the floor...angry of course. Ryou wished he could have stopped it. He wished he would have just ended the drunken bitch's life right there and then with a quick stab. Maybe a slash to the head..Bam! Brains flying everywhere.
He walked over to Renji, careful not to step on any stray shards of glass, and crouched.
"Need a hand?" he asked, as if he was just helping up a friend that had clumsily tripped over a rock.

He looked up at him..All he could ask was, "Is my face red..?"
He only whispered it as he trembled he was glad that Ryou didn't get involved with her..
He looked back down as he let out a shaky sigh..

"Just a bit. Come on, let's get you cleaned up." he said as he picked Renji up (just think the ending of KH2...when Sora helps Riku up)

Ryou shook his head. "Anytime..." he said, leading him to the bathroom, slowly so Renji wouldn't be in pain too much.
He sat him down on the toiled and started running up the water.

He put his head down..He was ashamed of what Ryou probably heard and saw him weakily laying on the ground like that.
He studied the floor...He was just sick of what his aunt put him through..She's been doing this to him after he was forced to move in with her...Why did she hate him so much? Did she think it was his fault?
'Of course it's my fault..If I would've died she wouldn't have me here..and have more time to be a slut.'
This boy was going to need some major cheering up whether he liked it or not.

Ryou checked the water in the tub to see if it was okay to go in. Not too hot, not too cold. He didn't really know how Renji liked it. He kept an eye on Renji. He was worried about the boy.
'He must be so damn embarrased...'
"Alright, take 'em off." he said in a commanding voice.

Ryou raised his eyebrow.
"Your clothes. Take 'em off. You reek of beer. Unless you wanna bathe with them on? Don't worry, I'll leave. I'll be outside if ya need me." he said, chuckling and exiting the bathroom, closing the door behind him. He sat down next to the door, hugging his legs and resting his head in them.
'Renji....' he closed his eyes, feeling his back sting where he still had a scar.
Random Flashback Flash
A younger version of Ryou is seen running.
'I ran. I ran until my muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid. Then I ran some more.'
He's caught by 3 big guys, all smirking and laughing at him. A guy with short red hair walks out of the shadows.
"Ryou, Ryou...still haven't learned your lesson, have you? You belong to me...I guess I'll just have to show you....Hold him down, fellas."
Two guys roughly lay Ryou on the ground and hold him down while the third one throws a bucket of cold water on him.
"Hmm...your shirt gets in the way. Let me take that off for ya."
The red hair rips Ryou's shirt off and takes out a bottle.
"This is lye. This..." he said as he poured the lye on Ryou's back, "...is chemical burn. It will hurt more than you've ever been burned before. You will have a scar."
Random end for a random flashbac 'cuz yah >>
Ryou mentally shuddered, recalling that memory. Shit, he had forgotten all about that...and..him...That bastard, he fucking took his eye with him too....
Shaking his head of all thoughs, he tried taking a quick nap.

He sighed as he pulled his clothes off, groaning and coughing from the smell of beer...It was the cheap stuff and that stuff stank worse than...Pure Cat Spray ugh!
He got in the bathtub and submurged himself under the water with his eyes wide open staring up to the ceiling..
'Hey..It looks funny..'
Then noticing what he was doing he quickly fought out of the water and leaned over the tub coughing.
'What the hell was I thinking?!'

So while Renji was off trying to drown himself...Ryou was dozing off.
'Must not...fall...asleep...ugh' he slapped himself to wake up.
"Gotta wake up....must nooot....fall...as..leep....Zzzz....zzzz...ZzzZzZzzzz...."
he fell alspeep anyhow.

He blinked a few times as he stopped coughing..'Sheesh, Now I should be afraid of baths..'
Now that it was quiet..He started to shake as he sat back down in the tub.
He closed his eyes thinking, 'Why does that woman hate me?! How could Mother stand her younger sister?! Why did Dad have to be an only child?! ..Why couldn't we stay out of an accident...?'
He opened his eyes he noticed he was making himself more mad that he should and stressing himself out as well..
'Ryou-kun...He reminds me of who I was back before the accident..Back before everything got messed up for me..He's so cheerful despite what happened to him...'
