Ryou woke himself up by coughing. He though that maybe he shuld REAAALY not smoke too much....Eh...he could deal with a little cough...
He coughed again.
"Damn it...."
He closed his eye and tried to sleep again. Coughing every once in a while. (like...every 30 seconds...)

He stopped thinking so hard when he heard Ryou coughing..
'That's what he gets for smoking..'
"HEY! Don't DIE out there!" He shouted from the bathroom.

Ryou woke up (again) when Renji shouted from the bathroom. He snorted.
"I won't if you won't drown yourself!" he shouted back.
He glared at the floor. Damnit he needed sleep...and his thoughs were invaded by something someone said to him a long time ago....

"Uh huh, sure you're not..." he muttered, if he was in Renji's shoes, he would have already commited suicide a long time ago....Sometimes he still wondered why he hadn't yet. Then he was reminded of his dad (the adoptive one, mind you) and remembered why.
He wished Renji would hurry up so he could go to sleep.

He dunked his head under the water one more time and jumped out.
Renji grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist. He then opened the door, glaring down at him.
He grabbed his left arm and looked away.

Ryou was jolted out of his sleepyness (for the billion time that night) when Renji opened the door. He yawned and looked at Renji...he was glaring at him.
'..he has issues with me, doesn't he? Maybe he just likes to glare a bit too much...eh..whatever.'
"Finally, I almost though you went down the drain or something." he stood up and cracked his neck to the side.

He turned his attention back to him and sighed...That glare still fixed upon his face. It was like..semi-permenate.
Renji pushed past Ryoushi and walked into his room, shutting his door. Quickly he found a pair of boxers, pulled his towel off and slid them on. Then grabbing a pair of comfortable pants he slid them on.
Then he opened the door to signal Ryou it's okay to enter.

Ryou trotted into Renji's room like an obedient puppy and layed down in the floor next to the bed. 'Yes...finally...sleeeep....'
Somehow, he took no notice of Renji's lack of shirt

He rolled his eyes, knowing Ryou just won't listen to him about the damn bed. He grabbed his blankets pulled them over his head and grumbled.
"Fine..Stay on that floor..I haven't vaccumed it in six months."

Ryou sighed happily. He finally got to keep the floor! No yucky yuck bed for him! Specially not to be shared with certain sexy boy he might have a tendency to molest in the middle of the night....
Of course, you didn't hear that from me....
Not caring whether the floor was dirty or clean (he slept in worse places before, why would a little dirty floor bother him NOW?), he stretched his body, kind of like a cat does, and promptly coughed once before hiding his face in his arms to sleep.

His eyes remained wide open, underneath the covers..Another night to be tortured...
He'd have to wait until his body couldn't take the stress anymore and gave out on him like every night.

No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't sleep. There was something bothering...but he didn't know what. Sighing he rolled over and stared at the ceiling. He was reminded of the anime 'Evangelion' and just felt like he had to quote Shinji.
"Another unfamiliar ceiling..." he whispered, chuckling at his own sheer stupidity for quoting anime at this time.

He started humming Ode to Joy then. He smirked as he hummed it.

At first, he though he was going insane. Was he hearing Ode to Joy in his head?! It was probably his annoying voice in the back of his head....

Ok, so maybe it wasn't the voice..so if it wasn't the voice...that was...Renji?!
How random....he decided to play along. He started humming Saria's song (you know, the Zelda one when yer in dat forest...err..yeah XD).
